Landor is a human ward and torturer employed by the Legion, and liked doing his job under the command of the Lord (who eventually joined the Horde). However, in Candor with Landor - after he had been cutting off the ears of a crying liar, eventually killing the person - Landor finally left the job after he was completely bored with it, because he missed his favourite patient, Richard. He might also be religious, as he referred to the Gods when speaking of his boredom.
